Hi! I’m Faygie (Fay). Welcome to my blog! I started running in the spring of 2012, to help me lose weight for my sister’s wedding. It was hard, and I thought I’d hate it, but to my surprise I ended up really liking it! For my first two years of running, I was running between 3 to 3.5 miles, 3 times a week. I wasn’t always consistent, but I always came back to it after missing a few weeks here and there.
In the spring of 2014 I decided it was time to start increasing my distance, and start training for and running races. So far I’ve run the 5k, 10k, and half marathon distances, and hope to soon sign up for my first marathon.
I’m a wife, a mom to 3 girls, a vegetarian, and I live in Los Angeles.
